1. Permitted use
The Services are licensed to you for lawful review, verification, dispute, and evidence-based reporting activity consistent with your certified permissible purpose. Use for any other purpose requires an executed written agreement with Hub or Dub.
2. Evidence-only submissions
Every submission you upload, whether a report, response, correction, or attachment, must be accompanied by verifiable evidence. Anonymous accusations, unsupported claims, opinions dressed as facts, deep-fakes, synthetic or machine-fabricated content, and any material you know or should know to be false are strictly prohibited and will be rejected at intake or removed on manual review. You warrant that you have the right to submit the material and that publication will not infringe third-party rights.
2A. HOD Score activation
HOD Score activation is free for every account and completes after identity verification. Activation is not a subscription and does not recur. Where a verified identifier is already linked to an active HOD Score owned by the same verified account, the account is linked to the existing score. Third parties may not activate or claim a HOD Score on behalf of another verified identity.
Minimum age requirement (18+). To maintain responsible reporting and ensure compliance with applicable laws and policies, Hub or Dub requires all individuals to be at least eighteen (18) years of age to claim, activate, access, or maintain an HOD Score™ or HOD Report™ for themselves. The system will not permit any individual under 18 to independently claim or activate an HOD Score™ or HOD Report™ associated with their identity, nor may a person under 18 establish or claim an HOD Score™ or HOD Report™ for a business or organization. Age eligibility may be verified during the account, identity, or score-activation process, and accounts that do not meet the minimum age requirement may be restricted from claiming or activating a score or report.
2C. Submitting HOD Drops
Submitting HOD Drops means providing Hub or Dub with verified information about yourself, your business, another person, or another business that may contribute to a HOD Report™. HOD Drops help create a more complete, evidence-backed representation of an individual's or business's real-time reputation. Every HOD Drop must be supported by credible, verifiable documentation and/or clear images or videos sufficient to substantiate the information being submitted. All HOD Drops are manually reviewed and verified by the Hub or Dub Investigation Team before they can be approved and added to a HOD Report™; submissions that cannot be independently substantiated, verified, or meet Hub or Dub's requirements will be rejected and are non-refundable. Submitting false, misleading, fraudulent, defamatory, or intentionally manipulated information is strictly prohibited. Whether you are documenting your own history, strengthening your business profile, or submitting verified evidence concerning another person or business, every HOD Drop should be factual, relevant, accurate, and supported by evidence.
2B. HOD Pro+ and HOD Enterprise+ subscription fees and unused credits (final, non-refundable, non-transferable)
All fees paid for a HOD Pro+ or HOD Enterprise+ subscription, including the monthly or annual base fee, per-location base fees, additional team-member seats, prepaid HOD Credits purchased against a HOD Pro+ workspace, and any add-on charges, are final, non-refundable, and non-transferable once charged, except where a mandatory consumer-protection law of your jurisdiction expressly requires otherwise. If your HOD Pro+ or HOD Enterprise+ subscription is suspended, terminated, expires, or is canceled for any reason, whether by you or by Hub or Dub, all unused HOD Credits in the affected workspace wallet are immediately forfeited on the effective date and have no cash value, cannot be redeemed, refunded, transferred, or restored, and will not carry over to any future subscription, workspace, or account.
3. Manual Back Office verification
All submissions and material changes pass through mandatory human review by our Back Office prior to publication. Approved findings publish in real time. Rejected submissions are returned with a reason and a right of appeal. Attempts to coerce, induce, bribe, or manipulate Hub or Dub personnel or systems to publish, alter, remove, or fabricate findings are a material breach of these Terms of Use and may result in immediate termination, forfeiture of fees, civil action, and referral to law enforcement.
4. Permissible purpose
Where you access an HOD Report about a natural person and your use meets the definition of a “consumer report” under 15 U.S.C. § 1681a(d), you must certify a permissible purpose under 15 U.S.C. § 1681b at the time of access, comply with all obligations of users of consumer reports under the FCRA and equivalent state and nationwide laws, and issue any required adverse action notice. See the FCRA & CRA Compliance page for permissible-purpose categories, certification templates, and required disclosures.
5. Real-time updates
HOD Scores move in real time as newly verified evidence is confirmed by our Back Office. You will not represent an HOD Score as static, as of a fixed date, or as a scheduled snapshot; you will not disable, misrepresent, or obscure the update timestamp shown on any HOD Report you display, share, or redistribute for a permitted purpose.
5A. Score integrity and the centralized Back Office queue
Each HOD Score is calculated entirely by the system based solely on information that has been manually reviewed, verified, and approved or rejected by the Hub or Dub Back Office. No user, subscriber, Back Office employee, or other person can manually alter, configure, inflate, suppress, or otherwise manipulate a HOD Score or its numerical calculation. As verified HOD Drops, inquiries, disputes, life updates, and other qualifying information are processed, the system automatically recalculates the affected HOD Score in real time according to Hub or Dub's proprietary scoring methodology. Score changes are deliberately calibrated so that a single reporting or isolated event cannot cause dramatic score fluctuations; meaningful movement requires sustained, verified, and substantive contributions to the individual's or business's record. Nothing submitted to the system affects a HOD Score until it has been manually reviewed and acted upon by the Back Office, and unanswered or unprocessed matters produce no scoring change.
All incoming and outgoing inquiries, tickets, disputes, HOD Drops, HOD Score claim requests, verification requests, and related activities are routed through one centralized, comprehensive Back Office queue, providing authorized staff with a single real-time workspace to review, investigate, approve, reject, resolve, and document every matter.
5B. Duty to report material updates within thirty (30) days
Individuals and businesses are responsible for reporting material positive and negative life or business updates to Hub or Dub as they occur, including employment changes, housing or property acquisitions, vehicle purchases, terminations, arrests, probation, and other qualifying developments. Reportable events must be submitted no later than thirty (30) days after they occur, so that HOD Reports remain current, evidence-based, and continuously maintained.
6. Prohibited conduct
You will not, and will not permit any person to:
- Resell, sublicense, syndicate, distribute, white-label, mirror, cache, or otherwise commercialize any portion of the Services or output, except under an executed written commercial agreement.
- Use the Services or output for FCRA-regulated decisions (credit, insurance, employment, tenancy, government benefits) without first certifying a permissible purpose and complying with the applicable user obligations.
- Use the Services or output to harass, stalk, defame, dox, threaten, blackmail, extort, discriminate against, or physically harm any person.
- Submit fabricated, misleading, or unlawful content, impersonate another person, or misrepresent authority to act on behalf of any person or entity.
- Scrape, harvest, mirror, reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the underlying datasets, prompts, models, or scoring methodology.
- Bypass, disable, or interfere with any security, authentication, rate-limit, sanctions screening, or access control mechanism.
- Use bots, scripts, or automated means to access the Services other than through our published APIs under an active written authorization.
- Circumvent identity verification, use another person’s identity, or maintain more than one account per verified individual without our express permission.
- Use the Services in any manner that violates any law, sanctions program, export control, anti-money-laundering requirement, or third-party right anywhere in the world.
7. Automated abuse detection and enforcement
HOD Engine continuously monitors activity for signals of resale, monetization, fraud, abuse, coordinated inauthentic behavior, prohibited automation, sanctions violations, and undisclosed regulated use. When suspicious activity is detected, the system may in real time (a) flag the account, (b) open an internal case for Back Office review, and (c) suspend access, throttle features, or restrict specific capabilities. Enforcement decisions may take effect without prior notice. Appeals are handled through the Back Office.
8. Correction, dispute, and appeal
Every subject of an HOD Report may file a dispute, correction, mistaken-identity, source-removal, likeness, or copyright complaint under the Disputes, Corrections & Takedown Policy. Standard acknowledgment within two business days; standard decision within thirty (30) days (extended by up to fifteen (15) days if you supply additional information) as required by 15 U.S.C. § 1681i; urgent safety matters escalated within twenty-four (24) hours.
9. No accusatory labels without authoritative support
HOD Engine and our Back Office reviewers are configured to refrain from labeling any subject as “criminal,” “fraudulent,” “dangerous,” or with any similar accusatory or stigmatizing term unless the label is directly supported by an authoritative public record (court, regulator, sanctions authority, or equivalent governmental source) that is cited within the finding.
10. No implied endorsements; no celebrity likenesses
You will not submit, and Hub or Dub does not use, names, photographs, voices, signatures, or other likenesses of celebrities, public figures, or third parties in a manner that implies sponsorship, endorsement, affiliation, or partnership. This restriction is enforced across marketing surfaces, generated reports, and user-submitted content.
11. Public information and lawful authority
You acknowledge that Hub or Dub draws on lawfully accessible public records and lawfully licensed data from sources nationwide, and relies on legitimate-interest, public-interest, journalistic, research, and free-expression legal bases recognized in applicable law. You will not tamper with, mask, forge, or manipulate any source citation or evidence link in any report you display or share.
12. Your content and license grant
You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant Hub or Dub a nationwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, process, display, analyze, and use your submissions to operate, secure, verify, and improve the Services and to comply with legal obligations. This license survives termination for the limited purpose of retaining verified findings, dispute records, and audit trails as required by law.
13. Reporting concerns
Notices of alleged copyright infringement should be sent under the DMCA & Intellectual Property Policy. Reports of unlawful content, safety threats, or trust-and-safety issues may be sent to trust@hubordub.com. Vulnerability reports should follow the Security Trust Standards.
14. Suspension, termination, and consequences
Violations may result in immediate suspension or termination of access, forfeiture of prepaid fees, permanent platform bans, score adjustments, restitution claims, civil action, and referral to law enforcement or regulators. Remedies are cumulative and non-exclusive. Termination does not extinguish Hub or Dub’s statutory obligations as a consumer reporting agency to retain dispute records, source references, and audit trails.
15. Updates
We may update these Terms of Use at any time. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
