Hub or Dub Inc. operates a formal, human-reviewed dispute, correction, and takedown program. While HOD Scores are recalculated automatically from verified report data and cannot be manually edited, the underlying source records and findings on your HOD Report can be re-evaluated when a credible, verifiable complaint is submitted through this process.
1. What you can request
- Correction of a specific factual statement traceable to a public source you believe is inaccurate, outdated, or misattributed.
- Source removal where a cited public source has itself been removed, retracted, sealed, expunged, or successfully challenged in its original jurisdiction.
- Right-to-object / privacy-law request under GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, LGPD, PIPEDA, or equivalent applicable law.
- Impersonation / mistaken-identity claim where a report has been associated with the wrong subject.
- DMCA / copyright notice for content you own.
- Likeness / endorsement complaint where you believe a name, photo, or likeness has been used to imply an endorsement.
2. Service-level commitments
- Acknowledgement: within 2 business days, automatically.
- Initial triage: within 5 business days. The system re-scans cited sources and flags the finding for review.
- Decision: within 20 business days for standard requests; 30 business days for complex multi-jurisdiction matters.
- Urgent safety matters (imminent harm, doxxing, intimate-image abuse): triaged within 24 hours.
3. Possible outcomes
- Source re-verified, finding retained.
- Source re-verified but updated, finding refreshed.
- Source no longer supported, finding suppressed from future report refreshes and an immutable audit entry is added explaining the change.
- Mistaken identity, the affected finding is detached from your report and an audit entry is recorded.
- Request denied, you are notified with the reason and your appeal rights.
In every case, the original HOD Report record is never deleted; outcomes are appended as an additional, permanent audit entry, preserving the historical record and integrity of the system. Back office cannot remove items from HOD Reports once added; deletion is restricted by ownership override.
4. Appeals
If your request is denied, you may appeal once within 30 days by opening a signed-in appeal from your account or by calling our Global Support Team so the call can be recorded, verified, and processed. Appeals are reviewed by a human reviewer who was not involved in the initial decision. The appeal decision is final and binding for purposes of these policies, without prejudice to your statutory rights. Hub or Dub does not accept mail-in disputes, appeals, or submissions of any kind. Every submission must be completed securely online or by phone so we can record, verify, and process it.
5. Bad-faith submissions
Knowingly false, harassing, or abusive dispute submissions may result in account suspension, HOD Score recalculation flags, and referral to law enforcement, and may form the basis of a counter-claim under applicable law (including 17 U.S.C. § 512(f) for fraudulent DMCA notices).
6. What this policy is not
This program is not a mechanism to delete, hide, suppress, or rewrite lawful, verifiable public-record findings simply because they are unflattering or undesirable. It is not a vehicle for reputation laundering. Hub or Dub will not remove findings supported by authoritative public records absent a binding legal order from a court of competent jurisdiction.
