Billing, Subscriptions & Refund Policy

0A. All purchases are final, non-refundable, and non-transferable

All purchases on Hub or Dub are final, non-refundable, and non-transferable under all circumstances. This applies without exception to every charge on the platform, including HOD Personal Report and HOD Business Report purchases, manual investigation and review requests, and any other paid feature or service.

Once a purchase is completed it cannot be canceled, refunded, credited, exchanged, transferred to another person or account, or applied toward any future purchase, regardless of whether the report has been viewed, downloaded, delivered, or used. This policy applies at all times and in every U.S. state and territory, except only where a mandatory consumer-protection law of your state expressly and non-waivably requires otherwise, and only to the minimum extent that law requires.

Every report purchase is non-transferable and is tied to the verified business account on file. A purchased report may not be moved to another user, account, or third party. You must acknowledge and agree to these terms before completing any purchase on Hub or Dub. This Section is a material term of the parties' agreement and is enforceable to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

0B. What each option costs and what it grants

Pricing, eligibility, access level, and eligibility-decision-use status for every product sold by Hub or Dub. Current rates are always published on the pricing page.

No purchase, price, volume, or negotiated term sold by Hub or Dub reduces, waives, delays, or circumvents any right afforded to the people and businesses Hub or Dub covers, or any applicable federal or territorial law. Every subject keeps the same rights to free file disclosure, dispute, reinvestigation, correction, deletion of unverifiable information, notice of adverse action, and a record of who accessed their file, regardless of how many reports the requesting business has purchased.

Consumers are never charged to view their own HOD Score, to obtain a file disclosure required by law, to file a dispute, or to have a disputed item reinvestigated. No subscription, cancellation, non-payment, or refund outcome affects those rights.

0C. Report access lasts up to 30 calendar days

Every purchased HOD Report is accessible to the purchasing business for up to 30 calendar days from purchase. After that, access ends and the report must be repurchased at the current price. Access windows are not extendable or refundable.

0. HOD Score activation

HOD Score activation is free for every account. Activation completes after identity verification, is not a subscription, and does not recur. Where a verified identifier is already linked to an active HOD Score owned by the same verified account, the account is linked to the existing score instead. Third parties may not activate or claim a HOD Score on behalf of another verified identity.

1. Prices, currencies, and taxes

Prices are shown at checkout in U.S. dollars. Prices are exclusive of applicable sales tax, digital services tax, and comparable taxes, which are added at checkout where required. You are responsible for any tax not collected by us and for any withholding required by your state.

1A. Current pricing

Claiming, viewing, monitoring, and disputing your own HOD Score and HOD Report is free forever. An HOD Personal Report is $39.99 per report. An HOD Business Report is $99.99 per report. Each report is purchased one at a time. There is no subscription, membership, credit, or add-on, no free trial, and no introductory offer.

1B. Eligibility restrictions

HOD Personal Reports and HOD Business Reports are available to verified businesses only, and only with a certified FCRA permissible purpose recorded for each purchase. Eligibility is enforced server-side at the time of each purchase.

1C. Reporting submissions are free

Submitting a HOD Drop is free for every user and every account type, including free accounts, whether the HOD Drop concerns the submitting user or another person or business. There is no submission fee, credit requirement, subscription requirement, or payment requirement of any kind. Standard review takes up to 14 calendar days. Review may take longer where additional verification, documentation review, fact checking, evidence validation, identity confirmation, or location-specific compliance review is required. The 14-day period is a target, not a guaranteed completion deadline.

2. Payment authorization

Free accounts are not required to provide a payment method and will not be asked for one. A valid payment method is required at the time of purchasing an HOD Personal Report or HOD Business Report.

By providing a payment method, you authorize Hub or Dub and its payment processors to charge that method for the report purchased, any applicable taxes, and any retries following a failed authorization. You represent that you are authorized to use the payment method and that the billing information is accurate.

3. No automatic renewal

Hub or Dub does not offer subscriptions. Each HOD Personal Report and HOD Business Report is a one-time, pay-as-you-go purchase. There is no recurring billing and nothing to cancel.

4. Statutory rights of withdrawal (where applicable under state law)

If a mandatory consumer-protection law of your U.S. state provides a non-waivable right of withdrawal or cancellation, you may exercise that right by notifying us in writing at billing@hubordub.com within the period required by that law. If you request that the Services begin during any such period, you agree that once the Services are fully performed within that period, the withdrawal right no longer applies. Nothing in this Policy limits any statutory withdrawal, refund, or set-off right that cannot be contractually excluded.

5. Refunds

All purchases are final, non-refundable, and non-transferable as set out in Section 0A. We do not issue refunds, credits, exchanges, or transfers for any report purchase, whether or not the report has been viewed, downloaded, or used. The only exceptions are (i) where a mandatory consumer-protection law of your jurisdiction expressly and non-waivably requires a refund and only to the extent that law requires, or (ii) a duplicate or clearly erroneous charge caused solely by our billing system, which we will reverse to the original payment method within ten (10) business days of confirmation. No other exceptions apply.

6. Chargebacks and disputes

If you dispute a charge with your bank or card network, please contact billing@hubordub.com first so that we can resolve the matter. Filing a chargeback for a charge you legitimately incurred is a breach of these Terms and may result in account suspension and referral to collections. We reserve the right to submit evidence, including logs and audit trails, to the card network in response to any chargeback.

7. Business and API accounts

Business and API accounts may be governed by an executed order form or master services agreement that supersedes this Policy for the specific subject matter it covers.

8. Failed payments

If a payment fails at checkout, the report purchase does not complete and no charge is made.
