HOD Pro+ Business Subscriber Agreement

This agreement governs HOD Pro+, Hub or Dub's business subscription for organizations that run consumer reports for purposes regulated by the Fair Credit Reporting Act. It includes the FCRA Permissible Purpose Certification and supplements the Platform Agreement, Terms of Service, and Privacy Policy.

Effective July 31, 2026 · Version 2026-07-31.1 · Continuously reconciled against local law

1. What HOD Pro+ includes

  • Everything in My HOD+ (bundled for each seat);
  • The ability for authorized seats to run HOD Reports on people and businesses for certified business purposes;
  • Per-location and per-seat management, organizational audit history, and compliance tooling;
  • Optional add-ons, such as unlimited credit checks and unlimited international background checks, billed per location at the rates published on the pricing page.

2. FCRA Permissible Purpose Certification

As a condition of HOD Pro+, your organization certifies that it will request and use consumer reports only with a permissible purpose under FCRA § 604, 15 U.S.C. § 1681b, and only in compliance with all applicable federal and state law. Your organization further certifies that:

  • Every report request is preceded by a specific, recorded permissible purpose certification in the platform;
  • Where required by law (including FCRA § 604(b) for employment purposes), you have obtained the consumer's clear written authorization and made the required standalone disclosure before requesting the report;
  • Before taking any adverse action based in whole or in part on a report, you will provide the consumer the required pre-adverse-action notice, a copy of the report, and the CFPB's Summary of Rights, followed by a final adverse-action notice that includes Hub or Dub's name and contact information and the consumer's dispute rights;
  • Where GLBA-covered nonpublic personal information or DPPA-covered motor-vehicle records may be returned, you have an independent permissible purpose or permitted use under those statutes (15 U.S.C. § 6802; 18 U.S.C. § 2721);
  • Reports will not be resold or redisclosed except as permitted by law, and will be disposed of securely in accordance with the FTC Disposal Rule, 16 C.F.R. § 682;
  • Access is limited to authorized, authenticated seats, and credentials are never shared.

Hub or Dub may verify certifications, audit usage, decline any request, and suspend or terminate access for suspected misuse. Certifications are recorded with the certifying user's account, IP address, and user agent and retained in the audit trail.

3. Subject availability requirement

Reports can be run only on a person or business with an established HOD Score file tied to a verified SSN, ITIN, or FEIN. If no file exists, the system does not accept the run and prompts you to notify the person or business to activate their HOD Score through a free Hub or Dub account.

4. Billing, seats, and locations

  • HOD Pro+ is billed per location plus per user (seat), monthly or annually, at the rates published on the pricing page at the time of purchase or renewal.
  • Add-ons are billed per location on the same cycle as the base subscription.
  • Seats may be reassigned within your organization; simultaneous use of one seat by multiple people is prohibited.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid term; no partial-term refunds are provided except where required by law.
  • New subscriptions begin with a 30-day free trial and convert automatically unless cancelled before the trial ends. Add-ons selected at checkout are covered by the trial; add-ons activated later bill at the paid rate on activation.

5. Organizational responsibilities

  • Designate an administrator responsible for seat management, certifications, and compliance;
  • Complete business verification (KYB), including FEIN verification, before report access is enabled;
  • Maintain reasonable procedures to protect reports and to comply with the FCRA, state consumer reporting laws, and applicable privacy statutes;
  • Cooperate with Hub or Dub audits and promptly respond to compliance inquiries.

6. Consumer rights preserved

HOD Pro+ never reduces the rights of any report subject. Every person and business retains free access to their own file, disclosure, dispute, and correction rights under the FCRA and applicable state law, and disputes are reinvestigated within the timeframes required by law.
